Cotti Culture — European cottage cheese

The story behind Bangalore’s favourite cottage cheese

Fresh, pillowy cottage cheese crafted for high protein and zero compromises.

Cotti Culture's journey in four illustrated steps: the Netherlands discovery, home kitchen experiments, the Cotti Culture launch, and growing step by step across Bangalore.

It started with something wonderfully simple: I missed good cottage cheese.

As a vegetarian, I’ve always found it challenging to get enough protein into my everyday meals, especially when I wanted something savory, convenient and genuinely enjoyable. So many of the convenient high-protein options out there tend to lean sweet, from protein shakes to bars and snacks.

Then I discovered cottage cheese while travelling through the Netherlands.

I fell in love with its soft, pillowy curds and rich, creamy texture, but what really stayed with me was how incredibly versatile and convenient it was. It was a naturally protein-rich vegetarian food that could be eaten straight from the fridge, spread on toast, stirred into a meal, turned into a dip, or simply enjoyed by the spoonful.

It made getting protein feel less like something I had to work into my diet and more like something I genuinely wanted to eat.

When I returned home to Bangalore, I searched everywhere for the fresh, delicious cottage cheese I'd fallen in love with, but couldn't find anything quite like it.

So I decided to make it here, for here.

I’m a Bangalore girl through and through, and I couldn’t imagine building Cotti anywhere else.

I love how open, energetic, and curious this city is. Bangaloreans are always eager to discover new flavours, embrace healthier ways of living, and welcome fresh ideas with open arms. It's a place where diverse food cultures thrive, making it the perfect home for a new culinary journey.

What started as a passionate little experiment in my home kitchen slowly blossomed into something truly special.

From a little experiment to Cotti Culture

From day one, I set non-negotiable standards for Cotti. I wanted it crafted from clean, recognizable ingredients, with absolutely no preservatives or artificial fillers. It also had to be genuinely nourishing.

Striking that perfect balance was everything. Cotti had to be healthy enough for everyday eating, yet so velvety and delicious that it never felt like a compromise.

And the texture had to make you want to come back for another spoonful. Soft, pillowy curds, just the right amount of creaminess, and none of that dry, watery, “I’m eating this because it’s healthy” feeling.

I wanted something you could grab straight from the fridge, dive in with a big spoon, and genuinely look forward to eating.

I’m quite conscious of what I put into my body, and that shaped every part of how I made Cotti.

If I wouldn’t eat it myself, I didn’t want it in Cotti.

And that heart-led approach is how Cotti Culture came to life.
